Greater Wenatchee Valley, October 19, 2023 — Wenatchee Youth Baseball (WYB) is proud to announce an exciting new development for the upcoming 2024 season. In a move that enhances youth baseball opportunities in the Greater Wenatchee Valley, WYB is thrilled to welcome the Greater Wenatchee Babe Ruth (GWBR) league under its umbrella, introducing a comprehensive program for young athletes aged 13-16.

This partnership follows WYB's successful collaboration with NCW Fall Ball, which expanded their programs to include Fall Ball for ages 8-12 last year. WYB is taking another significant step forward by embracing GWBR to provide a seamless and enriched baseball experience for teenagers in the region.

GWBR offers players aged 13-16 the opportunity to experience the game of baseball on standard 90' diamonds, playing by the Official Baseball Rules used in Major League Baseball. Teams within this division are eligible to enter tournament competitions, with a chance to progress along the tournament trail, culminating in the prestigious 13-16 World Series.

This union between WYB and GWBR marks a major advancement in our commitment to youth baseball development in the Greater Wenatchee Valley. It will allow us to serve a wider range of young athletes and provide them with an enhanced, cohesive experience in the sport.

Wenatchee Youth Baseball is committed to fostering a love for the game and promoting essential values such as teamwork, respect, and sportsmanship. With this expansion, we look forward to further enriching the lives of young athletes in our community.

We want to express our gratitude for your continued support as we embark on this exciting new chapter together. The 2024 season promises to be a thrilling journey for youth baseball in the Greater Wenatchee Valley, and we cannot wait to see it all unfold.
