Wenatchee Youth Baseball Joins Give NCW to Secure Support for Youth Programs

Wenatchee, WA – November 22, 2023

Wenatchee Youth Baseball (WYB) is thrilled to announce its participation in Give NCW, an impactful online fundraising campaign that runs from Thanksgiving Day through December 31. Give NCW aims to bolster nonprofits in North Central Washington by providing a platform for individuals to contribute to causes they are passionate about.

During this giving season, supporters can make a difference by visiting www.GiveNCW.org and donating to Wenatchee Youth Baseball. The minimum donation is just $10, and with our commitment to covering credit card fees, 100% of contributions go directly to WYB. The Foundation also offers numerous giving incentives and matching opportunities to amplify the impact of each donation. All contributions are tax-deductible.

In its inaugural year with Give NCW, Wenatchee Youth Baseball has identified crucial needs, including acquiring a slushie maker for the concession stand, installing a final scoreboard for field 3, and implementing a new reader board to enhance community communication.

Wenatchee Youth Baseball operates on a tight budget, with registration fees covering less than 50% of operating costs. Concession sales contribute approximately 20%, highlighting the significance of community support through initiatives like Give NCW, sponsorships, and grants. These funds are essential for the continued success of WYB in serving the youth of Wenatchee Valley.
